TL;DR: Kajabi Funnels Review (2026): What They Do And Where They Fall Short
Kajabi Funnels are ready-made sets of landing pages, emails, and a checkout that guide a visitor from signup to sale. They work well for simple, proven funnel types, and they’re limited once you want testing, branching, or precise tracking.
• What you get. Seven templates, including freebie, sales page, product launch, webinar, and coaching funnels. Each one creates the pages and email sequence for you.
• Limits. Kajabi’s pricing page lists unlimited funnels and landing pages on Basic, Growth, and Pro.
• Biggest strength. Pages, emails, offers, and checkout live in one account, so nothing needs connecting.
• Biggest weakness. Funnel stats count every sale of an offer, including sales that came from outside the funnel. You can’t test a whole funnel either.
• Extras. Order bumps, upsells, and downsells attach to your offers. Advanced automations start on Growth.
• Pricing. Basic costs $143/month, Growth costs $199/month, and Pro costs $399/month on annual billing.
• Use it if you sell courses, coaching, or memberships on Kajabi and want simple funnels without extra tools.
• Skip it if funnels are your main need. A dedicated funnel builder like ClickFunnels costs less and tests more.
Try Kajabi For Free
A funnel is a planned path. A visitor lands on a page, gives you an email address, receives a few emails, and reaches an offer. Building that path usually means connecting a page builder, an email tool, and a checkout.
Kajabi Funnels put those pieces in one place and give you templates for the common paths. You pick a template, answer a few questions, and Kajabi creates the pages and emails.
I’ve been a Kajabi customer for years, and funnels are one of the features I point people to most. They’re also one of the features people expect too much from. A template gives you a structure but driving traffic to your offer, remains your job.
In this review, I’ll explain what Kajabi Funnels offers, cover each funnel template, the tools around them, what they cost, and the limits you should know before you build on them.

Quick Verdict | Are Kajabi Funnels Good Enough?
Kajabi Funnels are good enough for most knowledge businesses. If you want a lead magnet funnel, a webinar funnel, or a launch sequence for a course, the templates will get you there in an afternoon, and everything connects without setup.
But they’re the wrong choice if funnels are the center of your business. Kajabi’s funnels follow fixed, linear paths. Its funnel stats can’t separate funnel sales from other sales of the same offer, and it has no way to test one whole funnel against another. Marketers who run paid traffic and tune every step will want a dedicated tool.
I’d also be honest about price. Paying $143/month for funnels alone makes little sense. It works if your primary goal with Kajabi is to sell your coaching, courses, or digital products.
But if you’re only looking for funnels, ClickFunnels is a better option
My Kajabi review covers that bigger picture.
What Are Kajabi Funnels?

Kajabi Funnels allows you to build funnels for the sales and marketing campaigns of your online courses, coaching offers, and other digital products. Unlike a standalone landing page or pop-up, the goal of a funnel is to build a journey for your leads that converts them into customers by building trust, awareness, and urgency.
A Kajabi funnel ties together three building blocks.
- Landing pages: An opt-in page, a thank-you page, a sales page, or a registration page
- An email sequence: Emails that go out on a schedule after someone signs up
- An offer: The product and price a buyer sees at checkout
You could build the same path by hand with separate pages and emails. A funnel organizes the pieces in one view and creates them together. Kajabi called this feature Pipelines until 2022, so you’ll still see that name in older tutorials.
To create one, go to Marketing, open Funnels, and click New Funnel. You choose a template, enter a few details such as your offer and your lead magnet, and Kajabi generates the pages and emails with placeholder copy.
A funnel can be as simple as an opt-in page followed by a thank-you page. It can also run through a sales page, a checkout, an upsell, and a downsell, as the diagram below shows. If the concept is new to you, start with my guide on how to create a sales funnel.

Kajabi Funnels Pricing | What Will It Cost You?
Kajabi doesn’t sell funnels separately. They come with every plan, and Kajabi’s pricing page lists unlimited funnels, landing pages, and marketing emails on all three. Older articles mention limits of 3, 15, and 100 funnels, and those no longer apply.
- Basic: $143/month on annual billing or $179/month paid monthly. Unlimited funnels with basic automations
- Growth: $199/month on annual billing or $249/month paid monthly. Adds advanced automations, affiliates, and webhooks
- Pro: $399/month on annual billing or $499/month paid monthly. Adds the code editor and higher contact limits

Kajabi has no free plan. It offers a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The plan choice for funnels comes down to automations. If your funnels send the same emails to everyone, Basic is enough. Once you want to stop sales emails for buyers or branch by behavior, you need Growth. Contact limits matter too, since a funnel that works will grow your list. My Kajabi pricing guide has the full breakdown.
Kajabi Funnel Templates | What Each One Builds
Kajabi’s help center lists seven funnel templates. Here’s what each one creates and who should use it.
| Template | What it builds | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Freebie | Opt-in page, thank-you page, nurture emails | Growing an email list |
| Sales Page | Opt-in page, sales page, checkout | Selling one offer right after signup |
| Waitlist | Opt-in page and a welcome email | Building interest before a launch |
| Product Launch | Opt-in page, three value pages, email sequence, checkout | A multi-day launch that teaches first |
| Zoom Webinar | Registration page, confirmation page, sales page, nine emails | Selling from a live webinar |
| Free Book | Opt-in page, shipping checkout, follow-up emails | Authors with a physical book |
| Coaching Campaign | Application page, thank-you page, booking emails | Coaches who start with a discovery call |
Freebie Funnel
The Freebie funnel collects email addresses in exchange for a free resource. It creates an opt-in page, a thank-you page that delivers the resource, and an email sequence that follows up.
This is where I’d tell most beginners to start. It’s quick to set up, and it builds the asset every other funnel depends on, which is your list. My guide to lead magnet ideas will help you choose what to give away.
Sales Page Funnel
The Sales Page funnel moves a new subscriber straight to an offer. A visitor opts in, lands on a sales page that doubles as the thank-you page, and can continue to checkout.
It suits a low-priced offer that needs little explanation. For a higher-priced program, most buyers need more time and more contact than one page gives them.
Waitlist Funnel
The Waitlist funnel, also called Coming Soon, captures a name and email before your product exists and sends a welcome email. Use it to measure interest before you build. If few people join, you’ve learned something cheap.
Product Launch Funnel
The Product Launch funnel leads with teaching. After the opt-in, subscribers receive three value pages over several days or weeks. Each page holds a video and links to your checkout, and an email sequence moves people from one page to the next.
It fits a larger program that needs trust before the sale. It also asks the most of you, because you have to record three useful videos. I cover the planning side in my product launch formula.
Zoom Webinar Funnel
The Zoom Webinar funnel creates a registration page, a confirmation page with the date and time, and a sales page. It also writes nine emails, with four reminders before the event and five follow-ups that link to your sales page.
You schedule the webinar in Zoom and paste the link into Kajabi. Kajabi handles registration and email, and Zoom hosts the event. Zoom’s Webinar product is a paid upgrade, though a standard Zoom meeting works for smaller groups. For other hosts, see my list of the best webinar platforms.
Free Book Funnel
The Free Book funnel offers a physical book for the cost of shipping. Subscribers opt in, pay shipping at checkout, and then receive emails that promote your main offer. It only makes sense if you have a printed book and a way to ship it.
Coaching Campaign Funnel
The Coaching Campaign funnel uses the opt-in page as an application for your coaching program. Applicants reach a thank-you page with next steps, and the emails encourage them to book a first call. It pairs with the tools I describe in my Kajabi Coaching review.
Where it falls short. Seven templates cover the common cases and little else. Kajabi has no template for a quiz funnel, a challenge, or a paid trial. You can build those by hand from separate pages and emails, and you lose the convenience of a template when you do. Kajabi still offers a legacy template for a pre-recorded evergreen webinar, which tells you that format hasn’t had much recent attention.
The pre-written copy is another weak point, because it’s fill-in-the-blank text and it reads that way. Plan to rewrite every page and every email.
Kajabi Funnel Features | The Tools Around The Templates
Now let me explain how Kajabi Funnels work and how its different components come together.
Feature #1: The Funnel Editor
After Kajabi generates a funnel, you see every page and email in order on one screen. From there you can open any page, add pages, reorder them, and copy the funnel’s link to share.
Pages open in the same drag-and-drop editor as the rest of Kajabi’s site builder, so you won’t need to learn a second tool. A checklist on the funnel screen tracks which steps you’ve finished. For design help, read my guide on how to create landing pages that convert.
Where it falls short. The editor shows a straight line of steps. It has no visual canvas where you map branches, such as one path for buyers and another for people who didn’t buy. You handle that logic separately with automations, and you can’t see it in the funnel view.
Feature #2: Email Sequences
Each template comes with an email sequence matched to its pages. A webinar funnel gets reminders and follow-ups. A launch funnel gets emails that release each value page. You edit the copy and timing in Kajabi’s email editor, and every plan includes unlimited sends.
Because the emails and the pages share one contact list, a new subscriber enters the sequence without any integration. That’s the practical benefit over pairing a page builder with a separate email tool. My guide to email sequences explains how to plan the content.
Where it falls short. The sequences run on fixed schedules. Sending different emails based on what a subscriber clicked or bought takes advanced automations, and those start on Growth.
Feature #3: Order Bumps, Upsells, And Downsells
These tools raise the value of each sale, and they sit on your offers.
- Order bump: An extra item on the checkout page that the buyer adds before paying. It’s part of the original transaction.
- Upsell: An offer shown after checkout. If the buyer accepts, Kajabi charges the same payment method as a separate transaction.
- Downsell: A second offer shown when the buyer declines an upsell. You can add one at each step.
You build an upsell once and attach it to several offers. Buyers who already own the product in an upsell won’t see it. You can discount an upsell, though the discount doesn’t combine with a checkout coupon.
Where it falls short. Upsells live under each offer’s purchase flow, apart from the funnel screen. So a buyer’s full path runs across two parts of Kajabi, and you have to hold the whole picture in your head.
Feature #4: A/B Testing
Kajabi lets you test two versions of a landing page against each other. You share one link, Kajabi splits the visitors, and you pick the winner by opt-ins or clicks. You can also test two versions of an email broadcast by subject line or content.
Where it falls short. You test one page at a time. Kajabi can’t compare one whole funnel with another, and it doesn’t test automated email sequences, checkout pages, or upsells. A test also needs volume before it means anything. With fewer than about 1,000 views on a page, the result is mostly noise.
Feature #5: Funnel Analytics
Each funnel has a stats view. For pages, you see views, opt-ins, conversion rate, sales, total revenue, and revenue per view. For the email sequence, you see sends, opens, and clicks.

That’s enough to spot an opt-in page that isn’t converting or an email nobody opens.
Where it falls short. This is the limit I’d want every reader to know. Kajabi’s help center says the sales figure counts all sales of the offer, even when the purchase didn’t come from the funnel. The email figures work the same way and count everyone in the sequence.
So if you sell the same course from your website and from a webinar funnel, the funnel’s revenue figure includes both. To measure one funnel accurately, give it its own offer, or track it with an outside analytics tool.
Feature #6: Automations And AI Help
Automations connect a funnel to the rest of your business. You can tag a subscriber when they opt in, grant access to a product after a purchase, or start a second sequence when the first one ends. Basic automations come with every plan. Advanced automations, which add conditions, start on Growth.
Kajabi’s AI can help with the writing. Cofounder drafts individual funnel pages and emails, and Kajabi MCP lets Claude or ChatGPT create drafts in your account. I cover both in my Kajabi AI review.
Where it falls short. Kajabi’s help center says Cofounder can’t build a complete funnel or an automation. You still generate the funnel from a template and wire the automations yourself.
For deadlines, Kajabi has a countdown timer for fixed dates. If you want a deadline that starts when each subscriber joins, many Kajabi users add a separate tool such as Deadline Funnel, which is one more subscription.
Kajabi Funnels Use Cases | What You Can Build And Where It Stops
Here are five funnels a coach, course creator, or consultant would build in Kajabi, with what changes and where each one runs out.
Use Case #1: Grow An Email List With A Lead Magnet
Who it’s for. Anyone starting out, and anyone whose list has stopped growing.
What happens. You pick the Freebie template, upload a checklist or guide, and Kajabi creates the opt-in page, the thank-you page, and the follow-up emails. You share one link in your content and your social profiles.
What changes. You go from an idea to a working signup path in a few hours, and new subscribers land in the same list you’ll sell to later. My guide on how to build an email list covers what to do next.
Where you hit a wall. The funnel converts visitors, and bringing them in is a separate job. Without content, search traffic, or ads sending people to the page, a well-built funnel collects nothing.
Use Case #2: Sell A Course From A Live Webinar
Who it’s for. Course creators and consultants who sell best when they teach live.
What happens. You schedule the session in Zoom, choose the Zoom Webinar template, and paste in the link. Kajabi builds the registration page, sends four reminders, and follows up five times with a link to your sales page.
What changes. The reminder and follow-up emails are the part most people skip when they run a webinar by hand, and they do much of the selling. The template makes them the default. I explain the full method in my guide to webinar marketing.
Where you hit a wall. Kajabi doesn’t host the webinar, and the funnel doesn’t know who attended. Everyone who registered gets the same follow-ups unless you build extra automations. If you change the Zoom link, you have to update it in two places.
Use Case #3: Run A Multi-Day Launch
Who it’s for. Creators with an existing list and a program priced high enough to justify the effort.
What happens. The Product Launch template releases three value videos over several days, each with a link to your checkout. The email sequence delivers them in order.
What changes. You get a launch structure that has worked for years, with the timing already set. You can spend your effort on the videos.
Where you hit a wall. The schedule is the same for everyone. Stopping emails for people who have already bought takes an automation, and conditions need Growth. If you skip that step, buyers keep receiving sales emails.
Use Case #4: Fill A Coaching Program With Applications
Who it’s for. Coaches and consultants who sell through a discovery call.
What happens. The Coaching Campaign template turns the opt-in page into an application form. Applicants see a thank-you page with next steps, and the emails nudge them to book a call.
What changes. You screen people before they reach your calendar, which protects your time. The application answers also give you context for the call.
Where you hit a wall. The template collects applications and sends emails. Reviewing and approving applicants still happens by hand, and the funnel won’t score or route them for you.
Use Case #5: Raise Order Value With A Bump And An Upsell
Who it’s for. Anyone with more than one product.
What happens. You add an order bump to your course checkout, such as a workbook, and an upsell after purchase, such as a coaching session. If the buyer declines the upsell, a downsell offers something smaller.
What changes. Each sale can carry more revenue with no extra traffic. For a business with steady sales, this is often the fastest improvement available.
Where you hit a wall. You can’t A/B test the upsell, so you learn what works slowly. You also need a second product worth buying, and a weak add-on can cost you goodwill.
The pattern across all five. Kajabi handles the mechanics of a standard funnel well. It gets harder the moment you want the funnel to behave differently for different people.
5 Tips For Building Kajabi Funnels That Convert
A template only gets you to the starting line. These are the five habits I’d apply to any Kajabi funnel.
1. Build The Offer Before The Funnel
Kajabi asks you to attach an offer when you generate a funnel. Create the offer first, with its real price and a complete description. A funnel built around a placeholder offer needs rework on every page later.
2. Give Each Funnel Its Own Offer
Funnel stats count every sale of an offer. If you want to know what a funnel earned, duplicate the offer and use the copy only in that funnel. It takes five minutes and makes your numbers trustworthy.
3. Rewrite All The Placeholder Copy
Treat the template text as a prompt for what belongs on each page. Then write it in your own words, with your own examples and your learners’ language. Pay most attention to the opt-in headline and the first email, because those decide whether anyone reads the rest.
4. Go Through The Funnel As A Customer
Before you share the link, opt in with a personal email address and buy with a test coupon. Check every email on your phone, click every link, and confirm that access arrives after purchase. Most funnel problems are broken links and wrong dates, and you’ll only find them this way.
5. Fix One Step At A Time
When a funnel underperforms, find the weakest step in the stats and work on that step alone. If the opt-in page converts poorly, test a new headline against the old one. Changing three things at once tells you nothing about which change mattered.
For a wider view of how a funnel fits your content, read my guide to the content marketing funnel.
Kajabi Funnels Alternatives
If funnels matter more to you than course hosting, compare Kajabi with tools built for that job.
| Platform | Starting price | Funnel strengths | Choose it if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kajabi | $143/month, annual billing | Templates tied to courses, email, and checkout | You sell knowledge products and want one system |
| ClickFunnels | $81/month, annual billing | Deeper funnel building, split tests, and sales tools | Funnels and paid traffic drive your business |
| Kartra | $52/month, annual billing | Visual campaign mapping and behavior-based automation | You want marketing automation first and courses second |
| Leadpages | $79/month, annual billing | Fast landing pages and opt-in tools | You only need pages and already have email and checkout |
ClickFunnels gives you more control over each step and stronger testing, and its course features are thinner than Kajabi’s. I compare them in Kajabi vs ClickFunnels and in my ClickFunnels review.
Kartra sits closer to Kajabi, with a stronger automation builder and a weaker course experience. My Kartra review has the details. Leadpages covers pages only, so you’d pair it with one of the email marketing platforms I recommend. My roundup of landing page software lists more options.
Kajabi Funnels Pros And Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Pages, emails, offers, and checkout in one account | Expensive if funnels are all you need |
| Seven templates for the most common funnel types | No templates for quizzes, challenges, or paid trials |
| Unlimited funnels, landing pages, and emails on every plan | Placeholder copy needs a full rewrite |
| Order bumps, upsells, and downsells | Upsells sit apart from the funnel view |
| A/B tests for landing pages and broadcasts | No tests for whole funnels, sequences, checkout, or upsells |
| Stats for each page and email sequence | Sales stats include purchases from outside the funnel |
| Webinar template with nine pre-built emails | Live webinars run in Zoom or another tool |
| Basic automations on every plan | Behavior-based automations need Growth |
Who Should Use Kajabi Funnels?
- You already run your business on Kajabi. Use the funnels. They cost nothing extra, and a Freebie funnel is the best first project.
- You’re choosing a platform to sell courses or coaching. Kajabi’s funnels are a real advantage over course platforms with thin marketing tools. Compare your options in my guide to the best online course platforms.
- You’re a beginner with no audience. Start with a cheaper tool and one lead magnet. A funnel needs traffic, and Kajabi’s monthly cost is hard to justify before you have any.
- You run paid ads and optimize every step. Choose a dedicated funnel builder. You’ll want whole-funnel testing and cleaner tracking than Kajabi provides.
- You sell physical products. Look at a store platform, because Kajabi builds its funnels around digital products and services.
Overall, I recommend Kajabi Funnels as part of Kajabi, and I don’t recommend buying Kajabi for its funnels alone. They make standard funnels easy to launch, and they leave advanced tracking and testing to other tools. Before you build, plan your numbers with our free creator tools.
Kajabi Funnels FAQs
What is a Kajabi funnel?
A Kajabi funnel is a linked set of landing pages, an email sequence, and an offer checkout. It guides a visitor from signing up to buying. Kajabi creates the pages and emails from a template, and you edit them.
How many funnels can I create on Kajabi?
Kajabi’s pricing page lists unlimited funnels on the Basic, Growth, and Pro plans. Earlier limits of 3, 15, and 100 funnels no longer apply.
What funnel templates does Kajabi have?
Kajabi’s help center lists seven templates. They are Freebie, Sales Page, Waitlist, Product Launch, Zoom Webinar, Free Book, and Coaching Campaign.
Are Kajabi funnels the same as pipelines?
Yes. Kajabi renamed Pipelines to Funnels in 2022. The feature works the same way, and older tutorials still use the old name.
Does Kajabi have upsells and order bumps?
Yes. Order bumps appear on the checkout page before payment. Upsells appear after checkout, and a downsell can follow when a buyer declines an upsell. You set them on each offer.
Can I A/B test a Kajabi funnel?
You can test two versions of a single landing page or an email broadcast. Kajabi can’t test one whole funnel against another, and it doesn’t test email sequences, checkout pages, or upsells.
Can I host a webinar in a Kajabi funnel?
Kajabi’s Zoom Webinar funnel handles the registration page and the emails. The live event runs in Zoom or another webinar tool, and you paste its link into the funnel.
How accurate are Kajabi funnel stats?
Page views and opt-ins are specific to the funnel. Sales and revenue count every sale of the offer, including sales from outside the funnel. Use a separate offer for each funnel if you need exact figures.
Is Kajabi better than ClickFunnels for funnels?
ClickFunnels offers deeper funnel building and testing. Kajabi offers stronger courses, memberships, and coaching with simpler funnels attached. Choose by which side of the business matters more to you.
Can Kajabi AI build a funnel for me?
Kajabi’s Cofounder assistant can draft individual funnel pages and emails. Kajabi says it can’t build a complete funnel or an automation, so you still generate the funnel from a template.
